The all-new Subaru Forester Hybrid has delivered a strong independently verified real-world fuel efficiency result in testing conducted by the Australian Automobile Association (AAA) as part of the Australian Government’s Real-World Testing Program.

The program assesses vehicles under everyday Australian driving conditions, providing motorists with valuable additional information alongside the regulated laboratory-tested fuel consumption figures used across the automotive industry.

Testing conducted on public roads around Geelong, Victoria, recorded impressive figures of 4.9L/100km¹ for urban driving and a combined (urban/rural/motorway) fuel consumption of 5.5L/100km¹ for the Forester Hybrid – 12 per cent lower than its official laboratory figure.

Scott Lawrence, General Manager, Subaru Australia, said the result reinforces the Forester Hybrid’s performance in the conditions that matter most to customers — everyday Australian roads.
