Subaru Australia in partnership with the Australian Road Safety Foundation (ARSF) are thrilled to announce the winner of a brand new STI accessorised 2022 WRX AWD RS, and that an incredible $249,950 has been raised for the ARSF through their most recent raffle.
On Monday 27th February in Melbourne, Subaru Australia’s Managing Director, Blair Read, and ARSF CEO & Founder, Russell White excitedly handed over the keys to a new WRX AWD RS kitted out with sleek STI accessories to the raffle winner.
The lucky winner of the new STI accessorised WRX AWD RS is Christine from Melbourne. Christine purchased her raffle ticket online and was ecstatic when she received the call informing her that she had won.
Christine said, "I am absolutely over the moon! As a lover of the Subaru brand, it is a true honour to win this car. I am glad to support the ARSF as it is a fantastic foundation, and I think it’s great what they do, particularly for the year 9 students with their Road Set Program."
Subaru Australia in partnership with the ARSF raised an incredible $249,950 through this most recent raffle, increasing the total amount raised to over $654,000 since the partnership commenced in 2020.
Commenting on the success of the raffle, Subaru Australia Managing Director, Blair Read, said: "We are extremely proud to have raised just shy of $250,000 for the ARSF through this most recent raffle.
"At Subaru, safety is at the forefront of everything we do, and we are committed to making our roads safer for everyone. We are grateful to everyone who supported this initiative and contributed to the important work of the ARSF. We hope Christine enjoys her new WRX!"
ARSF Founder and CEO, Russell White, added: "I would like to extend my gratitude to Subaru and everyone who has purchased tickets as part of the raffles. These vital funds help support the foundation in our mission to achieve a fatality free future through innovate education, awareness, and community engagement programs."
The funds raised from this raffle will go towards the ARSF delivering vital road safety and driver education campaigns, initiatives, and events across Australia. This complements Subaru Corporation’s (the Japanese manufacturer of Subaru vehicles) Towards Zero safety vision of zero fatal road accidents in a Subaru vehicle by the year 2030*.
