In a double victory, the Subaru Forester and Subaru Outback have been awarded winners of OzRoamer’s 2022 Car of the Year (COTY) awards!
Subaru Forester* has been crowned OzRoamer’s 2022 AWD SUV under $45,000 and the Subaru Outback has been named OzRoamer’s 2022 AWD SUV $45,000 - $60,000.
OzRoamer’s annual COTY awards are widely regarded as the industry’s most comprehensive and independent review of the 4WD and AWD SUVs in the Australian market.
Built with advanced technology, safety, comfort and off-road confidence, the Subaru Forester and Subaru Outback continue to stand apart in their respective segment and win the hearts of many consumers across Australia.

Previously, Subaru Outback 2.0D Premium was named AWD SUV $45,000 - $60,000 in OzRoamer’s 2016 COTY awards and in 2019, the Forester 2.5i-S won the award for the best AWD SUV $40,000 - $50,000.
