Skiers and snowboarders at Perisher were given an exclusive sneak peek at the new Subaru XV Concept Vehicle today when a life-sized sculpture handcrafted from ice and snow, was unveiled on the resort’s Front Valley this morning.

Standing over 5 metres tall and made with well over a tonne of snow and ice, the Subaru XV concept Vehicle replica attracted a huge amount of attention when it was used as a jump by skiers and boarders who wowed the
crowd with a series of tricks over the sculpture.

“There is a real buzz in the air down here at Perisher,” remarks Subaru Australia’s General Manager Marketing, Andrew Caie.

“A lot of work has gone into developing the XV concept vehicle, so to see the crowd’s excitement towards our snow sculpture was very encouraging!!”

The new Subaru XV concept is being dubbed as the ‘convention breaking crossover’ vehicle, combining the versatility of a SUV with the style and handling of a small car.
