Subaru is delighted that GreenEDGE's momentum will be elevated even further by the announcement of a new naming right sponsor, Orica.

Subaru maintains its firm commitment to GreenEDGE, which was announced last December, and as a proud founding partner of a team that is already achieving so much on the international stage, looks forward to working with Orica.

"The GreenEDGE movement has already done so much for the profile of Australian cycling at home and abroad in the last few months.

"It's a huge credit to Gerry, Shayne and the team that we can only look forward to growth of that success, which will come with the inaugural naming rights partner coming on board," said Nick Senior, Subaru Australia Managing Director.

"Our involvement is part of a broader commitment to cycling in Australia, which includes our alliance with Cycling Australia, the Amy Gillett Foundation, and AustCycle, to promote cycling and road safety nationwide. The success of the GreenEDGE team contributes so much to the profile of Cycling and achieving that goal."

This multi-pronged approach serves the purpose of helping promote safe cycling, cycling as sport and as a healthy pursuit, while also bringing Subaru to the attention of audiences which fit perfectly with our recreation and fun-themed range, like XV, Forester and Outback.
