Subaru started selling vehicles in Australia 40 years ago and has a hard-earned reputation for vehicle durability, safety and retained value, while pioneering entirely new vehicle types. These include the crossover wagon, with Outback; the medium Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), with Forester; the adrenaline-pumping turbocharged sports sedan, with WRX and, more recently, the affordable sports coupe, with BRZ.
 
And, of course, there are the core technologies that add to the unique drive experience of every Subaru, including the horizontally-opposed Boxer engines. In conjunction with the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system that’s in every Subaru (with the exception of BRZ), the Boxer produces an incredibly low centre of gravity that highlights road-holding and grip – this creates the driving feeling that Subaru is inherently famous for.
