This is a 12 month parental leave contract role that could lead to other opportunities within Subaru or Inchcape.
 
POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the GM of Marketing with a team reporting to you, this role is responsible for the development and management of Subaru Australia’s brand, digital, communication, advertising and campaign strategies and customer engagement activities in support of the business growth objectives. It leads the efforts of the digital and communications teams, coordinating at strategic and tactical levels across all areas within the business. 
 
The overarching goal of this role is to seamlessly deliver relevant benefit driven messages and experiences which embody the Subaru ‘do’ brand promise and brand values at every touch point across the entire customer path to purchase. Integration with business assets and platforms is also critical to ensure all activity can be tracked and measured so continuous learning and optimisation can be achieved.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Develop communication plans to achieve Subaru Australia business objectives, both long and short term, specifically Sales Targets and Brand Development.
  • Continue to evolve and develop the Subaru Brand Strategy in conjunction with other marketing stakeholders. Drive the implementation and measure results against agreed marketing KPIs over the life of the plan.
  • Develop the Model, Product and Offer communication strategies that can be executed across the entire customer path to purchase. Manage the implementation via the communications and digital teams and in conjunction with the wider marketing team. Monitor all activity measuring the effectiveness versus business results and work with the team to optimise performance.
  • View all marketing communications through the eyes of the customer to ensure consistency with our company values and brand standards
  • Development of the Subaru digital marketing strategies across all aspects of digital in accordance with organisational goals
  • Lead the strategy development and delivery across multiple digital channels including website(s), email, SMS, content, mobile, SEO, offsite platforms and social media. 
  • Lead the strategy development and delivery of in-showroom and event/partnerships digital platforms
  • Lead and manage the communications team to maximize their potential and the contribution to the marketing outcomes of the organisation.
  • Take an active role in leading the wider marketing team and agency partners to deliver the overall business objectives. 
REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • 7 years of marketing experience with 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrate a portfolio of projects/campaigns that you've worked on
  • Proven success in Brand and Digital marketing strategy and implementation
  • Skills in delivering marketing automation and effective direct communication across digital channels
  • An understanding of analytical tools so you can lead the team to utilise data to improve and optimise our digital channels
  • Experience with budget management
