Bio: I’m 17 years old and I started playing golf when I was 10. I first started with a handicap of 45 when I was 11 and dropped 12 shots in my first round. I played my first JNJG tournament at the Subaru State Age Championships at Catalina and Mollymook in 2008. My first overall Jack Newton tournament win was the 2012 South Coast Junior Masters. What started your interest in golf?
My nan and pop got my sister into playing, who got me playing it. So I guess Nan and Pop started my interest in the game, and I have loved it ever since.
What’s your dream course to play on?
Probably Augusta, home of the Masters.
Who would you like to play a round of golf with?
My dream foursome would be with Morgan Pressel, Tiger Woods and Paula Creamer.
Other than Golf what sport do you most enjoy playing or watching?
I enjoy playing netball and tennis, which I used to play both quite competitively. I also support the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
What events are you focusing on?
I’m focusing on the Srixon International in October and also defending my title at the South Coast Junior Masters in August/September.
Where will we be seeing you in five years? In America, at a college on their golf team, finishing a degree of some sort.
What is your favourite band? I don’t really have a favourite band in particular, I just listen to a variety of artists and songs.
What is your favourite food? Everything that my mum cooks! She’s the best!
What do you eat the morning of a big tournament?
Probably something that mum will whip up, like porridge or I may just have toast or cereal, with a cup of tea.
