TOP MARKS IN DENMARK FOR FORESTER
The Subaru Forester diesel has won two SUV of the Year titles in Denmark.
Car magazine "Bilen" named Forester diesel its SUV of the Year 2009. The award recognised the outstanding boxer diesel engine, excellent standard equipment level and capable handling both on and off road.
"Bilmagasinet" car magazine awarded Forester diesel its Best SUV of the year title, outstripping models like the Audi Q5 and the Skoda Yeti.
Forester was awarded the title due to its superior engine, roomy cabin, capable Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system and competitive price.
"It is a great feeling knowing that journalists in both competing magazines agree that if you are out shopping for a new car in the SUV/Crossover segment, it would be a good idea to visit a Subaru dealership," said Subaru Nordic Sales and PR Manager for Denmark, Steffen Arnt.
It is the first time Subaru has won awards in Denmark.
Elsewhere in Europe, in Germany Subaru was recently recognised for having the most satisfied owners, for the fourth consecutive year. It has also received German awards in areas such as reliability and towing capacity.
