Subaru safety message on Sunrise

Subaru’s five-star safety message will be underlined in a special feature running on the 7 Network’s top-rating Sunrise program, between 7.30 and 8.00am  on Thursday 2 October.

In the lead-up to the long weekend, when safety is paramount on the nation’s roads, the segment will show Subarus undergoing independent crashworthiness testing by the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP), underlining the five-star rating achieved by every Subaru in the range.

Subaru’s safety commitment includes Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive for optimum grip, dual front, side and curtain SRS airbags and flat “Boxer” engines that are designed to go under – rather than into – the cabin, in the event of a heavy frontal collision.

The vast majority of Subarus now have standard electronic stability control, known as Vehicle Dynamics control (VDC), with the remainder of the range to follow in the near future.
