Subaru of America sales up 9.6 per cent

Subaru of America, Inc. reported February sales of 12,907 vehicles, an increase of 9.6 per cent in retail sales.

Impreza sales of 3642 were up 24 per cent on the same month last year and Legacy sedan (known as Liberty in Australia) was up 13 per cent.

Tribeca sales were up 8 per cent to 1038.

The Subaru results were rounded out by sales of 3876 Outbacks and 2971 Foresters. 

Tim Colbeck, vice president of sales for Subaru of America said: “It’s great to see such a strong showing from our new models. It is also pleasing to see close to a 10 per cent gain in consumer sales for the Subaru brand as a whole.”
