Subaru’s Forester X beats its rivals in a comparison published in the Motoring section of today’s edition of The Australian newspaper.
The Australian’s road test of the Mitsubishi Outlander gives it three and-a-half stars overall - compared to Forester’s four stars and Toyota RAV4 CV’s three and-a-half. Honda’s new CR-V is untested.
Forester also ranks top for value with four stars and equal on performance, with three and-a-half.
The Australian summarizes: “Forester is still a best-seller, not least because it’s one of the best driving experiences in its class and one of the few with full-time 4WD. High in value and comfort, but lacks cabin room. Full-size spare.”
